How the risk score is calculated
Every point in a Rug Radar score comes from a specific, documented rule. Each check adds points when it finds a risk; the total is capped at 100. Nothing is hidden or weighted by a black-box model.
Score bands
0–24
Lower detected risk
25–49
Some warning signs
50–74
High risk
75–100
Very high risk
The score measures detected risk. A low score means we didn’t find common red flags in public data, not that the token is safe.
Check statuses
- PASS Verified with data, no risk found.
- WARNING A risk factor that deserves attention.
- DANGER A serious, commonly exploited risk.
- UNKNOWN Could not be verified. Adds a small penalty, because unverified is never assumed safe.

Important caveats
- Concentrated-liquidity pools (Orca Whirlpools, Meteora DLMM, Raydium CLMM) have no LP token, so they can never show as locked. That doesn’t prove a rug, but it does mean liquidity providers can withdraw.
- Stablecoins and wrapped assets usually keep mint and freeze authority by design and score high. The score is tuned for meme coins.
- Exchange wallets can look like whales in the holder list. Check the addresses on Solscan.
- Scores can change minutes after launch as liquidity and holders move. Rescan before every trade.
